Affirm’s approval is required before launching custom marketing materials. Marketing materials include websites, marketing campaigns, social, and emails.
Follow the steps below for approval.
A custom asset is anything that promotes Shop Pay Installments that doesn’t use pre-approved language from the Marketing Toolkit. This includes emails promoting ‘As Low As’ messaging or anything needing a representative example from the toolkit.
To make your customized marketing materials successful, your marketing and disclosure terms must comply with various regulatory and legal requirements. As a Shopify partner, you have a dedicated team ready to review your custom assets for marketing Shop Pay Installments in partnerships with Affirm. We've put together a Marketing Toolkit where you’ll find tips and pre-templated resources to give you inspiration.
Within your marketing materials, make sure you avoid the common errors as seen in the "DON'T SAY" column. Instead, use the guidelines in the "DO SAY" column.
“0%”, “0% financing”, or “0% interest”
“0% APR” or “0% APR financing”
“0% APR” when the rates in your financing program with Affirm also include 10-30% APR
“As low as 0% APR”, or “Starting at 0% APR”

- Share with us a few details about your custom marketing assets. Copy and paste the table below and share with us a few details about your custom marketing assets in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.

That’s it! Please allow 5 business days for Affirm to review your marketing assets and provide feedback. You will receive a response via email at the address provided. Note: if your custom marketing assets are not approved, please incorporate Affirm’s feedback and re-submit your updated assets in reply to the initial email thread with the above mentioned email.
