For Platform Partners
Overview
Affirm must review and approve any materials before you launch custom marketing materials promoting Affirm on your platform or to your audiences. This article is intended for platform partners (such as payment platforms, and software platforms) that support merchants using Affirm.

Using incorrect or incomplete APR disclosures is one of the most frequent causes of requiring additional review cycles.
What Affirm May Request From Platform Partners
In some cases, Affirm will ask you to help validate contextual or technical details related to how Affirm is implemented within a merchant's experience, as well as how Affirm marketing messaging is surfaced within the platform customer environment. This may include:
- Does the platform provide templated Affirm messaging that merchants can reference or utilize?
- Is the customized marketing intended to be applied platform-wide or limited to specific merchants, customers or use cases?(e.g. industry-specific financing packages for merchants, or tailored marketing for particular products or services offered to consumers)
- If there is a promotion, where will the promotion be communicated (e.g. checkout, landing pages, emails, product detail pages)?
- Is the promotion controlled by the platform, merchant or a combination of both?
