Affirm allows you to edit our default promotional messaging to better support and advertise your business needs. Common modifications include pricing updates, educational pop-ups, styling, and prequalification copy.
Most e-Commerce platforms allow you to directly edit HTML, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), and Javascript elements within their interface. You will have to figure out where that is within your e-Commerce platform, and if you have the proper permissions to do so on your side.
Below are more detailed examples of common promotional messaging modifications:
- Adding Affirm.js embed code to the head of your global page template will help calculate the “Starting at $x/mo” messaging based on the financing offerings on your website. Additionally, you can set up price updates and upgrade educational modals by adding more JavaScript and HTML code.
- The HTML element will display the Affirm-as-low-as promotional messaging component, and it can be stylized with HTML and CSS. We recommend working with a developer to customize your promotional messaging with CSS to avoid configuration issues.
