Whenever an erroneous refund is sent to a customer, we highly recommend contacting the customer and working directly with them to regain the amount incorrectly refunded. Voids, refunds, and expirations are all irreversible events for loan transactions within Affirm. Because of the interactions with different banking institutions, Affirm can’t reinstate authorization for these funds.
Alternatively, customers can apply for another Affirm loan, however, note that there is no guarantee that the customer will be approved again.
